Crystal
first became interested in the dogs through her mother Christine.
She was the only daughter of five children so Crystal just wanted
to spend time with mom. Christine would spend hours looking
at dog books and naturally Crystal started to as well. One day
Crystal asked "what makes a nice dog?" Her involvement
in the dogs snow balled from there. When she turned twelve she
was given the opportunity to pick a puppy from a litter of eleven.
She raise and showed the dog all by herself. This dog is now
known as Cliff or
Can.Ch.Tricker’s Classic Victory SOMC. Their first
time in the ring was a very rewarding experience. The judge
was Barbara Beland who was more then understanding seeing how
novice the two of them where. After giving them some direction
she awarded Cliff Winners Male and 3 points. From then on Crystal
knew she wanted to show dogs. Since then she has come a long
way finishing over 40 dogs of numerous breeds, all the way from
Havanese to Mastiffs. She also worked with professional handler
Gary Lee for a time and he helped strengthen her presentation
of a variety of breeds. Of all the shows her favorite moment
was winning first award of merit at the BCC under Tim Hutchings
with the beautiful Honey or
Can.Ch.Bolerame’s Arwen Evenstar.
Crystal is available to show dogs in Saskatchewan and some Alberta
shows. She takes great care of her dogs in and out side the
ring. Crystal has presented dogs from all seven groups. With
12 years of experience she will continue to show dogs for as
long as she can. Crystal is also a talented trainer and is will
to work with your next promising puppy.
